I was getting a little fed up with all my knitting projects of long duration, when Amy said she wanted mitts to go with her scarf.

This is officially my first knit pattern. When I had the idea for it, I was sleeping… or supposed to be sleeping. Why do crafty/sewing things always disturb my nightly rest?
I got up the next morning and jotted down my calculations and knitted this baby right up. I almost couldn’t give it to my sister for Christmas because I was enjoying posing in it so much. 
But I was a good girl, it was duly gifted and I know it will keep her warm while she walks that oh-so-cute weiner dog!
